Where Mediterranean Meets American

Skally's family trademark recipes and generous portions make their prices a downright deal. You won't find a can anywhere in Skally's kitchen! Everything on their menu is made in house from scratch – including their one-of-a-kind sauces and salad dressings.

Start off dinner right with one of their feel-great appetizers. Work your way through one of their amazing entrees and finish it all off with a honey-drenched wedge of baklava. Enjoy a veritable feast delivered to you in your nice warm vehicle or straight to your home.

Their menu offers much to choose from. To help you decide, here is a small sampling of what Skally's has to offer.

Appetizers. Start off your meal right with Skally's large selection of appetizers. They offer all the classic favorites like loaded potato skins, beer-battered onion rings and chicken wings. Or go Greek with light and flaky spanikopita, fresh hummus and pita chips or zaatar – a unique flatbread coated with Mediterranean herbs.

For the true carnivore out there, they have a special treat – the Meatball Trio. Three enormous beef and Italian sausage meatballs come topped with marinara sauce, freshly shredded parmesan and whipped ricotta cheese. It's practically a meal in of itself!

Want to warm up with something a little lighter? Try a bowl of their Bistro Onion Soup or Vegetarian Chili. Perhaps you desire a crisp, hand tossed Caesar salad. Perhaps a Mediterranean salad topped with crumbled feta and candied apricots is more your style.

Once you've finished digesting that bit of information, let's move onto the main course.

Signature pita sandwiches and wraps. Have you ever bitten into a traditional sliced bread sandwich only to have the fillings and sauce ooze out of the other side and all over your fingers? You know, the kind that requires a whole stack of napkins to eat it with? Well, that never happens with Skally's famous pocket pita sandwiches. Busy people can easily eat them one-handed – napkins optional.

There is nothing Skally's won't put inside a pita. Grilled chicken, blackened shrimp, salmon, falafel, black bean burger and a huge selection of delightful deli meats are just a few of their proffered fillings. They even put a Reuben sandwich in a pita.

Forget boring wraps with their flimsy tortilla shells. Instead, try one of Skally's strollers. The Cheesesteak Stroller is a generous portion of premium prime rib, caramelized onions, mozzarella and roasted garlic aioli, tucked into a toasted flatbread pita like a warm blanket.

If cheesesteak isn't your thing, then how about the Ham and Cheese Stroller? Their ham is slow-roasted in house with brown sugar and pineapple, topped with Swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato and wrapped up in that same scrumptious Old World Bakery pita.

Classic hamburgers with a unique twist. What's more American than burgers and bagels? Burgers on bagels, of course! These aren't your average run of the mill bagels. Skally's Restaurant bagels are soft, slightly sweet Hawaiian style buns specially developed for the Midwestern pallet. Lightly toasted, their bagel buns combine perfectly with Skally's eight ounce all beef patties. They don't drown your burger in spices, either. Salt. Pepper. Worcestershire sauce. Love and pride. Nothing more and nothing less. It's the way the American Dream was always meant to taste!

Made from scratch pizzas. Want to know a little known restaurant secret? Bakeries make the best pizzas, and Skally's pizzas are made by a family of bakers. All the favorites are there along with options for sensitive eaters. Vegan or vegetarian? There's a pizza piled high with delicious veggies. Gluten intolerant? No problem – Skally's makes an amazing gluten-free pizza dough just for you. Choose from one of their specialty pizzas, or build your own with their wide selection of toppings.

In addition to dine in, carryout and delivery, Skally's offers catering. They have two box lunch options, discounts for ordering more than five pizzas, and best of all the Pita Platter. You pay per pita, as many as you need, filled with a deli meat and cheese of your choice, lettuce and tomato and arranged neatly on a platter. Comes with mayonnaise and mustard on the side. The Pita Platter is a sure office party pleaser.

Don't forget to take home dessert! Cookies and brownies are the usual fair, but best of all is their baklava. Chopped walnuts or pistachios and honey are folded between layers of buttery, flaky filo dough and baked to golden perfection. Top off your savory meal with a sweet piece of heaven.

The Restaurant Born From a Bakery

In 1977, the Skally family founded Skally's Old World Bakery where they introduced Cincinnati to pocket pitas for the first time. However, most Cincinnatians didn't know what to do with them, so in 1982 the Skallys opened their first restaurant to show their neighbors all the delicious possibilities of this wonderful flatbread. The restaurant was a huge hit!

Thirty-six years later, the Skally children spotted an available building off Civic Center Boulevard, right across the street from Topgolf entertainment venue. Finally, in October 2018, Skally's Restaurant opened its doors in West Chester.
